A Cameo

I love the concept art and the concept for the Dummy-O's serial flakes logo. I really need the concept art for the mobility scooter so I can get on modelling it. The RnD for the watermelon cannon will be finished for next weekend.

The Surveilance concept

Hey...this is my concept on the surveilance office, birds eye view and front view. I took the list and made the items that you see there. Umm... not sure what else I can say about this, I added a table in there you know, just in case Joe (the security guard, correct me if I'm mistaken) wants to make tea, coffee, Orange juice, etc. I haven't been in since thursday becuase I've had the flu, I doubt it's swine flu because I'm beginning to get better, than I was yesterday and (damn my eyes are watering). Anyways I'm outta here let me know what you guys think, peace. Oh btw, that circle floating in the air is a clock.

Paul: Ce Real Work

Well I didn't get any new logos done by tonight but I finished the cereal box prototype.
Enjoy guys!

It feels like a ceral box; Pirated themed also. But it will eventaully have to be redrawn. I love to design these things; but I just get the right structure or perspective in the drawing. The lines are rough and the colours too-bright; even for a cartoon.

I will try and print this off tomorrow with the designs; but I need your take on what needs to be changed. I'm aware of the characters being the mascot of the cereal; but knowing my "style" of drawing; I need the characters drawn by Louis. I CAN draw them myself; but its my crude style of drawing and how I differ on the designs which kinda ruins the whole feel of the film. I'm sure it will work out fine... ish. The orange theme of the box is for three reasons:

1. Colourful. Cereal boxes need to be attractive.

2. The wheats themselves; I have not decided if they are going to be orange puffs or multicoloured mixes (Lucky Charms style); but it would show the audience themselves the feel of the food.

3. The setting. It's set out the warm seas giving the environment of the Caribbean.

See you guys tomorrow; I actually think its the position of the images are the problem... never the less; I have the photoshop file ready for editing.

Paul: Market Crash

...and recovered!

It should have been uploaded yesterday; but here are the first collection of Logo designs and Product titles. The colouring was done but I wanted to "tidy" it up a little bit; not perfect but it's better than it once was. Even if they are unseen; us as a group chooses what works and what doesn't; in fact for our shop title "Yum N' Yum" tended to be a keen favourite amongst our peasents.
And time is too short: here they are:
Oh, and you might want to maximize:

Product Labels#1

CRUNCH BUNCH:Cereal what-puffs; Caveman influence
MOON: Electronics Brand; spoof of Sony.
BLESSU: Tissue brand. Made-up
MYNAISE: Mayonnaise spoof. It's so good you want to keep it for yourself.
ZAPPBARS: My personal invented chew-bar. WARNING: very sour.
DUTCH VITYOG: .... yeah. Those crazy Dutch yoghuts...

Product Labels #2
BUTTERISM: Butter... buts its post modern! OOOOOhhhhhh
PROFESSOR NUTTAH: He made the peanut... and butter. Oh praise him!
DUMMY-Os: A cameo from "Dummy" from our rival, erm "friendly neighbour" project. Wooden-scraps cereal.

Product Labels #3

DRACULA TOMATO SAUCE: I guess this our origin of animated vampire ducks.

MR CRUMBLE: Biscuits for gentlemen.

RASP'S JELLYBEANS: You guys won't know this; but Rasp is a working character for an story to be created in the near future; no harm for using him now aye? Sweets.

RUNNERS: Obvious spoof and rip-off of Walkers crips. Sue me!

LIL COKE': Its coke and cute at the same! Teehee

TUNA BITEs: I wasn't too certain if the "B" looked like an E or not; but anyway... Tuna.

Supermarket Titles #1

YUM N' YUM: Current Favourite title. I loved the product company "Buy N' Save" from Pixar's WALL-E; I just wanted to create a tribute to it here.

SPICEPRICES: I wanted to keep a title with a pirate influence hidden inside its meaning.

RUMBLES: Again; "Rum" hidden inside. You would presume the mascot character is called "Rumble".

MONEYSTOP: Sounds more like a 99p store than supermarket; meh.

MARKY: Not "MARKYO"; though that works too. The apple is just a picture.

FOOD4U: A hip and modern excuse for a cheap supermarket; stupid text generation...

SUPERSAVER: Originally SUPERSAVEARRRRR; this seems to be the most sensible name for a supermarket; needs more humour!

AISLEWAY: I really liked the design of this one; quick inspired store. I miss Gateways...

I should print these on thursday. Also; I might work on a bit of maya work and possible more designs. Petey's Golden Treasure design comes first though. Remember; if there are any designs or colours you like/dislike; I can always mix and match to get what you want.

Speak soon; I hope you can enjoy them! Oh and Louis; any decisions?

-EDIT- Apparently Blogspot won't let me remove the gaps between the text of the last two decriptions for the concept art. If anyone knows how to fix this then tell me soon or comment below.

Character Line up

Hey guys, here is a character line up that I have been working on. Tom and I chatted about giving the characters a little more detail so that is what I have done in this picture. The characters have been tweaked slightly especially the guard. His legs are thinner to accentuate his belly and he has a new hat, belt and pockets. His colours have changed also, because I realised that the colours that I gave him before were the colours of a cop, not a security guard. Anywhere here it is, I'm quite happy with how it turned out.

Paul: Well...

Today went well.
I think...

I personally have to say the dynamics side of our project is going great. Keep up the good work guys! Also; I should be colouring in and uploading the logo designs soon enough; perhaps even add some more... but I need to get the colours/clear-up right just now.
I really should be doing some 3d work

....... meh
